Oldie but a Goodie

Poop is something you become pretty familiar with as a parent. It gets on your hands, on your clothes, and on your carpet. When our third was a year old, she went into the bathroom and someone forgot to flush. She took out a ball of poop and started munching. She then started gagging. I ran to her in the hallway, saw her clenched fist, opened it up, and saw the wet tootsie rolls. Only they weren't tootsie rolls.

This past week my youngest did the same, only she pulled out used toilet paper and started sucking away. Man I need to teach my kids to flush.

With all this in mind, if you want to avoid disgusting family experiences with poop and other things that belong in the toilet, check out this article that was sent to me by the good folks at Nannybabysitter.com on how to childproof the bathroom.
